Welcome to WeVote, a social network designed to promote civil engagement and informed discussion among registered voters. By accessing and using WeVote, you agree to be bound by the following terms of service (the “Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use WeVote.
Account Eligibility: To create an account on WeVote, you must be a registered voter in the United States. WeVote reserves the right to verify your voter registration status through our voter verification process. If it is determined that you are not a registered voter, your account will be suspended or terminated.
Fraudulent Accounts: Creating a fraudulent account on WeVote is a crime and will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. If you are found to have created a fraudulent account, your account will be immediately terminated and your IP address may be reported to the authorities.
Civil Engagement: WeVote is a platform for civil discourse and informed discussion. Users are expected to engage with others in a respectful and polite manner, and to refrain from personal attacks or inflammatory language. Any user found to be engaging in disruptive or uncivil behavior may have their account suspended or terminated.
Public Sphere: All users who wish to contribute to the public sphere on WeVote must first verify themselves as a registered voter through our voter verification process. This ensures that the public sphere is reserved for the authentic voices of registered voters.
Modification of the Terms: WeVote reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time, with or without notice to you. It is your responsibility to review the Terms periodically for any updates or changes. Your continued use of WeVote following the posting of any updates or changes to the Terms constitutes your acceptance of those changes.
