01
Building civic technology innovations
By fostering a community of active and engaged citizens, WeVote is helping to create a more intelligent and engaged public policy process that is better equipped to address the challenges facing our society. Additionally, through the development of new technologies and programs, WeVote is constantly seeking ways to improve and streamline the policy-making process, making it more efficient and effective at addressing the needs of the community.
02

Organizing communities
WeVote’s ambassador programs are designed to create community engagement and help elected officials understand and utilize our platform. Our ambassadors serve as representatives of WeVote in their communities, working to introduce the platform to elected officials and their constituents. Through events, workshops, and other engagement activities, our ambassadors help to promote the use of WeVote as a tool for informed and democratic policy-making. By fostering strong connections between our platform and the broader community, our ambassador programs are an integral part of our efforts to create a more informed and engaged citizenry.
03

Civics education for all
WeVote is dedicated to empowering individuals with the knowledge and tools they need to be effective advocates for the issues they care about. Through our platform, we provide a range of civics education resources that are designed to help users learn more about the policy-making process and how to effectively engage with their elected representatives. These resources include educational materials, workshops, and events that are aimed at helping individuals understand how to become an effective advocate for the issues they care about. Whether you are new to the world of civic engagement or are an experienced activist, WeVote is here to help you make your voice heard and to create the change you want to see in the world.

How it started | How it's going
WeVote was initially launched back in 2015 and experienced a number of amazing successes in its early years. However, we have also faced a number of challenges, including a legal battle to protect our trademark and the need to reorganize from a for-profit corporation to a 501c3 non-profit. Despite these challenges, our mission has remained unchanged: to create a more informed and democratic society through access to reliable information and the ability to engage in informed debates. We are excited for what 2023 brings and are looking forward to a nationwide relaunch of our platform this year. We are confident that with the support of our community, we will be able to continue to make a positive impact in the world.

Yes, your donations are tax deductible
Donations to WeVote’s 501c3 foundation are tax deductible. This means that if you make a donation to our organization, you may be able to claim a tax deduction on your income tax return. This can be a great way to support our mission of creating a more informed and democratic society while also receiving some financial benefits. Please note that the tax deduction is only available to donors who itemize their deductions on their tax returns. If you are unsure whether you are eligible to claim a deduction for your donation, we recommend consulting with a tax professional or with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).
