The WeVote Foundation is a 501c3 non-profit organization

At WeVote, we are grateful for the support of our donors, who help us to promote informed discussion and civil engagement among registered voters. As a nonprofit organization, we are committed to using donations to support the building and maintenance of our platform, as well as to fund community education, training, and engagement activities.

One of the benefits of donating to WeVote is that your contribution may be tax deductible under IRS 501(c)(3) laws for non-profit donations. This means that if you itemize your deductions on your tax return, you may be able to claim a tax deduction for your donation to WeVote.

To qualify for this tax deduction, your donation must be made to a qualified 501(c)(3) organization, like WeVote, and must be used for charitable purposes. This means that your donation cannot be used for personal purposes, such as to receive goods or services in return.

You can find more information about tax deductible donations on the IRS website (https://www.irs.gov/charities-non-profits/charitable-organizations/exemption-requirements-section-501c3-organizations). If you have any questions about your donation, or if you need more information about the tax deductibility of your contribution, we encourage you to consult with a tax professional or the IRS.

At WeVote, we are committed to transparency in the way we use donations. We strive to be good stewards of our donors’ contributions, and we are committed to using them in a responsible and effective manner. If you have any questions about how we use donations, or if you would like more information about our financial management practices, please don’t hesitate to contact us at info@wevoteproject.org.

Thank you for your support of WeVote, and for your commitment to promoting informed discussion and civil engagement in your community. Your donation makes a real difference in the work that we do, and we are grateful for your generosity.
