Extracting Meaningful Data from WeVote Forums

As an elected official, it can be challenging to stay informed about the views and concerns of your constituents and other stakeholders. With so many issues to consider and so much information to sift through, it can be difficult to get a clear and accurate picture of how people feel about the issues at hand.

Unfortunately, many of the current systems used for constituent management are out of date and ill-equipped to handle the needs of modern society. For example, as the OpenGov Foundation’s “From Voicemails to Votes” report highlights, many legislative offices still rely on outdated communication systems such as voicemails and faxes, which can be slow and inefficient. This can make it difficult for elected officials to stay engaged with their constituents and make informed decisions about the issues that matter most to their community.

WeVote is designed to bring together elected officials and their constituents and other stakeholders in one place, allowing for more productive and informed discussions about the issues that matter most. By using our TrueCount CRM tool, elected officials can immediately improve their experience with constituent relations and management by a factor of 10.

Unlike outdated systems like voicemails, faxes, emails or letters, WeVote’s platform is designed to facilitate fast and efficient communication. This allows elected officials to stay connected and engaged with their constituents, getting a better sense of the views and concerns of their community and making more informed decisions as a result.  Needless to say, there’s a lot of room for improvement here, and we’re committed to building better systems for public engagement because we believe this is critical for any representative democracy to function well.
